Technical Specifications

  • Active Ingredient

    2,4-dichlorophenoxyacetic acid, choline salt

    Glyphosate: N-(phosphonomethyl)glycine, dimethylammonium salt

  • Mode of Action

2,4-D is a synthetic auxin that is a class of plant hormones that regulates plant growth. It is absorbed through the leaves and is translocated to the region of cells capable of division and growth in plants. This induces a cascade of unregulated growth and eventual death in susceptible plants. Glyphosate is a growth rate inhibitor. It inhibits the EPSP enzymes that are vital for protein synthesis in plant growth. It’s absorbed across the leaves and stems, causing stunted growth, loss of green coloration, leaf wrinkling or malformation and tissue death.

  • Application Rate

    Weeds 3 to 6-inch tall = 3.5 pt./A

    Weeds taller than 6 inches or glyphosate-resistant or hard-to-control weeds = 4.75 pt./A

  • Herbicide Group

2,4-D is a Group 4 growth regulator herbicide (synthetic auxin); glyphosate is a Group 9 glycine herbicide (EPSP synthase inhibitor).
