Accelerate improvement in nitrogen use efficiency (NUE) across global agricultural land by 2030. Reduce water consumption while increasing yields on 2.5 million hectares of seed production and water stressed agricultural land by 2030 compared to 2020.
When nitrogen is used efficiently, plants grow better and the surrounding natural resources are protected. Our nitrogen stabilizers apply advanced technology to increase nitrogen use efficiency. We'll also implement strategies to improve water use efficiency in water-stressed areas.
Enhance biodiversity on over 10 million hectares of grazing lands and natural ecosystems globally through sustainable management practices and habitat conservation by 2030.

Establish our climate strategy for scope one, two, and three emissions, including appropriate reduction targets by June 1 2021.
We can lead by example in the effort to mitigate climate change by focusing on renewable and efficient energy opportunities, and establishing a 10-year emission reduction plan.
Scope one emissions occur from sources that are owned or controlled by the company. Scope two accounts for GHG emissions from the generation of purchased electricity consumed by the company. Scope three emissions are a consequence of the activities of the company, but occur from sources not owned or controlled by the company. All packaging will be reusable or recyclable by 2030.
Sustainable packaging reduces overall plastic use and waste. We’re developing new processes and technologies that allow all packaging to be reused or recycled.
Operate every Corteva Agriscience site more sustainably through waste reduction, water conservation, and enhanced biodiversity.
We’re working toward zero-landfill status for all seed operations and are conserving water in high-stress areas. We'll also employ biodiversity best practices on all Corteva sites and research farms.
