Rajan’s story

How do Corteva’s efforts to advance inclusion, diversity and equity (ID&E) make you feel?

Inclusion, diversity and equity, together, creates the strong type of culture that we at Corteva should be proud of.

How do Corteva’s ID&E efforts support business objectives and benefit our customers?

We’re in the business of agriculture. Agriculture around the world is based upon trust and relationships. This is true of us with the farmers, of farmers with the consumers, and with the whole value chain.

Why should everyone work with small, diverse suppliers?

A lot of our business happens in small communities and we do have small diverse suppliers that we work with. The benefits that we get working with the small, diverse suppliers are tangible.

What matters most to you about advancing ID&E in agriculture?

What matters most to me is the strong foundation of equity. If all 20,000 of us truly believe in equity, I’m confident that we’ll be able to create a culture where inclusion and diversity will thrive.

“Inclusion, Diversity and Equity. These three elements combine to create a true sense of belonging – a feeling that occurs when each person feels able to bring their full self to work, contribute to their fullest potential, and thrive.”
